On Tuesday K-2 enjoyed an afternoon of learning about music through watching a performance from Musica Viva. Rhythm Works was performed by two musicians who transported the children on a visual journey from rainforest waterfalls, to chameleons and to road trains through music. A wide range of music was conducted through electronic loop machines, percussion instruments and wearable homemade instruments made out of plastic pipes and buckets. The children brought along their own self-made rain stick instruments so that they could join in the fun and play along with Rhythm Works. All students were highly engaged and entertained throughout the performance. The students had prepared for this concert during Term 2's music lessons. Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese
