Our Mission Leaders had an incredible and transformative experience at Lifted Jnr! We hope the workshops and moments of prayer provided the students with an encounter with God. The students learned about the power of the Holy Spirit, the meaning of Pentecost, and the impact of great leadership. Well done!! to our amazing St Francis of Assisi Cross Country Team representing the school at the Parramatta Diocesan event. Our Athletes showcased amazing perseverance, courage and unwavering spirit through a demanding course with many steep hills in unpredictable weather conditions. We are so proud of their excellent efforts and they should be too. Well done to Daniil Jerdetski, for an outstanding performance setting up a nice early pace as one of the front runners at the beginning of the race and kept his momentum up to finish on the podium in second place. Also a big thankyou to all the parents for their support and encouragement on the day and helping the students with the marshaling. Congratulations to the St Francis of Assisi Cross Country team.

Dear Parents and Carers, Vinnies NSW supports tens of thousands of individuals and families each year who are experiencing financial and housing insecurity. This year, our Winter Appeal focuses on the Working Homeless, an emerging group of people who are experiencing housing hardship and disadvantage. The Vinnies Winter Appeal plays a major role in ensuring that the members and volunteers of St.Vincent De Paul can continue to provide support to the people and services. We invite the St. Francis of Assisi school community to join us in participating in the 2024 Vinnies Winter Appeal. Our school’s contributions will help rebuild lives and dismantle the communal constructs that lead to disadvantage in the first place. Year 6 camp has come to an end. Today was spent playing many fun indoor games led by the awesome camp leaders. All the kids are ready for a good nights’ sleep, parents! 🌛🥱😴

Year 6 have been having the best time at camp!🏕️ 🏹 Yesterday the rain held off so they could all complete the outdoor activities - the giant swing, flying fox and archery. The kids have been stepping outside their comfort zones and challenging themselves to face their fears and learn new skills. We all enjoyed marshmallows around the camp fire 🔥 it’s a rainy day today but that won’t stop Year 6 from having an awesome time!

Year 6 students experience Encounter with faith

In mid-March, Year 6 students from 58 primary schools across the Diocese of Parramatta gathered in Penrith to participate in a new formation experience developed by the Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese Mission Team called Encounter.

Parents, Families and Friends You are invited to participate in today's Stations of the Cross prayer which will be led by a group of Year 6 students. It will begin at 2:00pm outside the canteen. This prayer is an opportunity for our parents to gather together, pray and reflect. The guided prayer experience will take you on a journey around the school where you will focus on each station. It will take approximately 45 minutes and is guaranteed to be a solemn and prayerful event.
